The Littlehampton & District Camera Club proudly enters its 82nd season, promising a vibrant programme filled with competitions, guest speakers, and social events that celebrate every facet of photography. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just beginning your journey, this year’s calendar offers something for everyone.

Highlights of the Season

  • Summer Cup PDI Competition kicks off the season, judged by the members themselves — a perfect way to reconnect and share creative energy.
  • Guest Speakers bring fresh perspectives throughout the year, including:

    • Paul O’Toole – Infrared & Adapted Lenses

  • Merit Print & PDI Competitions – judged by respected photographers including Annie Healey, Darren Pullman, and Steve McKie.
  • Sussex Scene, Human Portrait, Landscape, Photo Art, and Nature Competitions – each celebrating different genres and approaches.
  • Members Choice (Mono) and Best Image of the Year – opportunities to showcase personal favourites and the season’s finest work.

Regional events such as the Regnum Print Competition, Crouch Shield, and Southdown PDI Trophy connect the club with neighbouring communities, fostering friendly rivalry and shared passion.

Social & Showcase Evenings

Beyond competition, the club thrives on camaraderie and creativity:

  • Members’ Showcase Evenings and AV Presentations offer a platform for personal projects and storytelling.
  • Christmas Social brings festive cheer with a fish & chip supper and fun quiz.
  • Auction Night raises funds for the club while offering members a chance to discover hidden treasures.
